Hokuloa Canoe Club will host its annual Ventura Outrigger Challenge Race in Ventura, California. The 6-man outrigger canoe race, overseen by the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association, draws some 1,000 participants from around the state. Paddlers will paddle a 10-mile course just outside the Ventura Harbor toward the stunning Channel Islands.
